District Special Branch:
It is one of the most important specialized unit of district police. This special unit is housed in the Police Office and work under direct guidance of the Superintendent of Police. DSB mainly do the following jobs:
- Collecting secret information for intelligence and operational work.
- Programming of deployment of force for maintaining law and order.
- Planning of VIP protection.
- Rendering police clearance.
- Verification for issuing passports.
- Verification report for jobs.
